Review: Keen Targhee III MID Waterproof Hiking Boots

Today I'm reviewing my Keen Targhee III MID Waterproof Hiking Boots. Keen kindly sent these to me last year in preparation of my John Muir Trail thru-hike.

What I like about these boots is that they have the ankle support I need, while also being flexible! I like using these boots for local and longer, 6-10 mile day hikes. These boots weigh 1 lb. 12.4 oz. and are not super heavy or clunky, which I really like.

I also find that these hiking boots are great for people with wide feet!
These are best-selling men and women's hiking boots by Keen, and come in various colors like: Magnet/Balsam, Weiss/Boysenberry, Magnet/Atlantic Blue, Bungee Cord/Redwood and Safari/Coral... (I picked the Weiss / Boysenberry color for myself.)

Some of the boot technology includes:
  • KEEN.DRY™ waterproof breathable membranes keep feet dry while allowing perspiration to dissipate
  • KEEN all-terrain rubber outsoles with 4mm multidirectional lugs promise high-traction grip
I would recommend these boots for lighter backpacking trips and day hiking!
The cost of these boots is $149.95.

I also created a vlog review you can watch below:
