TRACKING YOUR HIKES
Our challenges are self-directed, and we highly encourage you to keep track of your time outdoors. Below we have listed some ways you can track your hikes.
Please note, this is for your personal use only and we will not collect your logs.
1. You can use our journal to log your hikes.
2. We recommend you use AllTrails or Strava Apps (see the "Apps & Other Ways To Track Your Hikes" section below for directions.)
3. Stay inspired and motivate your friends to take the challenge by tracking your hikes on social media by using #hike1, #hike2, #hike3... and #52hikechallenge(year) ex. #52HikeChallenge2024.
3. Download our logs below and fill it out for each outing.
4. Log every 10 hikes you complete here for some additional perks.

PRINTABLE 52 HIKE CHALLENGE TRACKING CALENDAR
For those of you who like to use a pen and paper and still stick things on your fridge - this if for you!
This simple printable calendar allows you to note where you went and mark the hikes you've finished in each box. This way you can track your hikes and stay motivated by putting it in a spot that reminds you to finish the challenge!
Make sure to take a photo when you've marked all 52 days off and share with us on social media or in one of our groups.
APPS & OTHER WAYS TO TRACK YOUR HIKES
Join Strava to track your distance and time and get featured on the leaderboard for your achievements with other 52 Hikers!
Directions: Download the Strava App. When you get outdoors hit the “Record” button on the bottom middle of the screen. Next push “start,” this will track your time, average speed and miles, push the stop button then “finish” to record your track and get your stats. Save your activity to your profile so you can add up your time outside.
Download AllTrails to find hikes, save hikes, track your hikes using their lists and so much more!
Directions: Download the AllTrails App. When you get outdoors click on the “Navigate” button on the bottom middle of the screen. Click on a route or you can click on “Start Without a Route.” Next, push “Start,” this will track your time, distance, elevation gain, average pace, average speed and calories. Push the “pause” button for a few seconds, then push “Finish,” to record your track. Get your stats under “Saved” and “Activities.”

Check out Peakbagger, they have a lot of lists for you to cover all over the world....and they make it fun to finish up the list! Phillip is working on the Sierra Club HPS and DPS list and highly recommends checking those lists out. Peakbagger also has an app for you to quickly update your summits.

NOTICE OF HIKE
We created this "Notice of Hike" so you can let your loved ones know where you're hiking and when they can expect you back. You can also leave it in the car, under your car seat at the trailhead. Download it here.
