52 Hiker Challenge -North Carolina and Wayfinder Outdoors are excited to offer the 16 hour class on Wilderness First Aid class at an unseen reasonable price of $175 per student. For 52 Hike Challenge participants the cost is $100 with coupon code 26hike52.
Class size is limited to offer better instructor/student interaction and will fill up quickly! Prerequisite CPR/AED. The January 31 / February 1 - class will be held at Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church and their Nature Area on Judd Parkway. The March 7 class will be held at Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh, NC.

Virginia 52 Hike Challenge- Great Falls: River Ridge to Swamp Trail

Come Join Hiking With The Bear and The Virginia 52 Hike Challenge at Great Falls Park : The River–Ridge–CCT–Swamp loop is a scenic ~4.8-mile moderate hike that typically takes about 2–3 hours with a group. You’ll start along the rocky River Trail with great Potomac views, then transition to easier forest paths on the Ridge and CCT trails before finishing on the often muddy Swamp Trail. It’s not very strenuous, but footing can be uneven, so good shoes and a bit of attention on the terrain go a long way.
