We hosted our first pop-up hike for our Sawyer Arizona Tour in partnership with the National Park Service to celebrate their 100th year Anniversary! There is much beauty found at the National Monuments in Arizona, including this gem. Our first stop was Tonto National Park! We were able to hike both the upper and lower cliff dwellings, our guided trip gave us a lot of valuable history on the people who once lived there, along with the flora and fauna. We highly recommend that you visit this park and make sure to reserve the upper cliff dwellings tour in advance, as it is limited to 15 people, and only 1 tour per day (morning). Once done with your tour, come down for lunch, and head over to the lower cliff dwellings. This makes for a perfect day out.
We want to thank everyone who came out to join us, REI, Myrian and Britt, Darren of Arizona Hiking, Camille from AZ Spirits Wild and Free, Sue, Libby, and all the Park Rangers for helping us to make this event a success!
