"I have always loved hiking but this challenge really cemented how much I value the outdoors and exploring new trails and places. It was one of the most empowering things I've done!
It still amazes me that I was able to do the majority of the challenge while pregnant. 37 of the 52 hikes I completed during the first and second trimesters! And hike 52 marked the first week of the third trimester.
I truly feel that because I was able to stay active and fit, my baby was stronger and healthier for it (he was almost 10 lbs!!!) and it helped laboring immensely.
This challenge has changed my lifestyle and my goals for not only me but also my family unit. I am so grateful I took a leap, signed up, and worked hard until I reached that finish line! I did it, and so can you! So find a buddy and get hiking!"

What helped you stay motivated to finish the challenge?
I kept a hiking log and had a hiking partner that was also doing the challenge with me; I also had a set deadline.
Congratulations to you and your little hiking buddy Nicole!
